Obituary of Barbara Louridas

Louridas, Barbara "Queenie" (nee Dabal), age 86 of Totowa at rest in Paterson on July 19, 2023. Beloved wife of fifty nine years to George Louridas of Totowa. Loving mother of Laura Luizzi and her husband Martin of Cedar Grove, Michael Louridas and his wife Jeanette and Family and the late George Louridas (1981). Dear grandmother of Jordyn and Kailyn. Sister of Eileen Baron and her husband Gregory of Clifton, Maryann Melus and her husband Rick of Florida, Robert Dabal and his wife Joan of Alabama and the late Patricia Szucs (2006) and her late husband Lou (1986). Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Born in Passaic, she lived in Passaic before moving to Totowa fifty-two years ago. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Louridas was an avid bowler and was the neighborhood mom and coach for all the sporting events. She was a great cook and cherished time spent with her family and grandchildren, and was their biggest fan. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Monday, July 24, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may visit Sunday, July 23, 2023 from 4:00-8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation (nationalpcf.org) and/or St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn 38105 would be appreciated.
