Obituary of Domingo Nieves

Nieves, Domingo age 92 of Wayne at rest in Wayne on July 9, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Felicita (nee Morales) Nieves (2005). Loving father of Jose Nieves, Domingo Nieves, Jr., Rosa Caraballo, Anna Iris Nieves, Theresa Nieves, Edwin Nieves, Domingo Nieves, III, and Maria Gilford.  Dear brother of Nicola Nieves, Juan Nieves, Carlos Nieves, Joseluis Nieves, Fela Nieves, Rosa Nieves, and Leocadia Nieves.  Also survived by sixteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  Born in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico he lived in Puerto Rico before immigrating to the mainland, residing in Pennsylvania then Paterson before moving to Wayne. He was an employee for Marcal Paper Co., Elmwood Park, for many years, before retiring. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 11:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday 4-8 PM.
