Obituary of Richard Santamaria

Santamaria, Richard age 77 of Totowa at rest in Pequannock on July 5, 2023. Beloved husband of Terry (nee Arboleda) Santamaria of Totowa. Loving father of Bernadette McCafferty and her husband Scotty of Rockaway and Scott Santamaria and his wife Kim of North Haledon. Adoring grandfather of Mark, Nicholas, and Sarah. Dear brother of Donald Santamaria and his wife Julie of Sparta. He is also survived by his beloved Dog, Ace and many cousins. Born in Palisades Park, he has lived in Totowa for the last 53 years. He was a General Contractor for Trimco Inc., Totowa for over 45 years before retiring in 2015. Mr. Santamaria was a member of the YMCA in Wayne and he loved to ride his bike. He is also a Marine Corp. Veteran having served in the Vietnam War. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday at 3:30 PM. Cremation will be private at the request of the family. Friends may visit Saturday 1:00-4:00 PM.
