Cleri, Linda Marie (nee Ciuppa), age 66 of Wayne at rest in Passaic on May 2, 2023. Beloved wife of 26 years of Dr. Dennis J. Cleri of Wayne. Dear sister of Susan Mariconda and her husband Stephen of Forked River. Loving aunt of Stephanie Mariconda of New Orleans, LA, Nicole Tartaglia and her husband Frank of Montvale, and Michelle Mariconda and her partner Lauren Kelly of Brooklyn, NY. Adoring great-aunt of Eve Tartaglia. She is also survived by her beloved pet dog, Spencer. Born in Paterson, she lived in Wayne most of her life. She was the Director of Nursing Services for Tri-Hospital Home Health and Hospice, Passaic, for many years before retiring in 2013. Mrs. Cleri was an excellent baker and was known for her cheesecake, and especially her rice pudding. Linda was a very warm hearted and generous person and very strong willed to do the right thing. She would help anyone, especially her family and friends. She was also dedicated to her profession as an RN and dedicated to her patients. She cherished any time spent with her family, her nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews. Linda was a great mom to her pet fur baby dogs Lexi and Spencer. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Friday at 10:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James RC Church, Totowa at 11:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
