Velazquez, Nilda I. age 72 of Paterson at rest in Passaic on May 1, 2023. Beloved companion of Carlos Diaz. Loving mother of Nilda Rodriguez, Juan Rodriguez and Nelson Quines. Dear sister of Juanita Solis, Aida Velazquez and two late sisters and three late brothers. Also survived by eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Born in Naguabo, Puerto Rico, she came to the mainland in 1969 and resided in Paterson. She was a homemaker. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. John's Cathedral, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday 4:00-8:00 PM.
