Luyster, Annette "Nettie" (nee Gallo), age 87 of Seaside Park at rest in Elmwood Park on April 24, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Fred Luyster (1994). Loving mother of Patrick Luyster & his partner Linda Siciliano of Shark River Hills, Kathleen Luyster & her fiancé Robert Barry of Elmwood Park, and Frederick Luyster & his wife Erin of Bostic, NC. Devoted grandmother of Melissa, Caitlin, Morgan & Brandyn. Born in Paterson, she lived in Elmwood Park, before moving to Seaside Park 30 years ago. Nettie was the owner for Bizarre Bazaar Consignment Shop, Toms River before retiring. Prior to that, she was a bookkeeper for Dial-A-Secretary and also a secretary for Zabriskie Chevrolet, Paterson. Nettie was involved with fundraising for the Cystic Fibrosis Association. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday 4:00 - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ramapo Bergen Animal Rescue (RBARI), 2 Shelter Lane, Oakland, NJ 07436 and/or Popcorn Park Animal Refuge, 1 Humane Way, Forked River, NJ 08731, would be appreciated.
