Obituary of Alice Nademus

Nademus, Alice (nee Hanchak), age 99 of Totowa at rest in Totowa on April 16, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Paul Nademus (2006). Loving mother of Carol Veltri and her late husband Eugene of Paramus, Arlene Nademus of Totowa, Jeffrey Nademus and his wife Sue of Oak Ridge and the late Michael Nademus (1987). Dear grandmother of Valerie Verile and her husband Pat, Rene Beites and her husband John. Adoring great-grandmother of Jordana Cullen and her husband Joe, Justin Verile, Brielle Beites, and J.J. Beites. She is also survived by many other relatives and her beloved Grand-Dog, Nolah. Born in Mayfield, PA she grew up in PA before moving to Totowa in 1961. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Nademus was a member of St. Ann's Society at St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Church, LF. She also attended the adult daycare at Christian Healthcare Center, Wayne. Alice thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family. She especially relished the time spent at her daughter's Pocono lake house, parties at her daughter's pool, and vacations in Hilton Head Island. Alice was at her happiest when surrounded by her family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Friday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Church, Little Falls at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
