Obituary of Georgianne C DiChiara

Di Chiara, Georgianne C. (nee Scala) age 77 of Wayne at rest in Wayne on April 16, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Di Chiara (1999). Loving mother of Jennifer Di Chiara of Totowa and Johanna DiChiara of Caldwell. Dear grandmother of Harper Kudela, Quinn Kudela, Arianna Rossi and Julian Rossi. Sister of Sandra Scala of Wayne and Albert Scala of Wayne. Mother in law of John Rossi and Colin Kudela. Also surviving is her cousin, Judy Schenack as well as many more cousins. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson before moving to Wanaque and then to Wayne fifteen years ago. She was a Secretary for Christian Health Care Center, Wayne, before retiring in 2011. Mrs. Di Chiara loved to bake. She loved New York City and visiting Florida. She was a lifelong fan of Frank Sinatra. She enjoyed the Jersey shore as well as trips to Atlantic City. She was the Matriarch of her family and she cherished any time spent with them, especially her grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 10:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Garden of Memories Mausoleum, Washington Township. Friends may visit Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 3:00-7:00 PM.
