Obituary of Carmine Giordano

Giordano, Carmine age 88 of Wayne at rest on April 3, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Alice L. (nee Sprague) (2011). Loving Father of Alice L. Seminerio and her husband Tom of Pompton Lakes, Shirley Giordano of Paterson, Judith Ann Giordano, Joseph L. Varcadipane and his wife Jane of Tewksbury Twsp, and Carmine Giordano and his wife Sheryl of Dumont. Cherished brother of Emily De Franco and Jean Griffin both of Absecon. Survivors include eight grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, he lived there for most of his life before moving to Forked River in 1993 then recently to Wayne. He was a Finisher for various Dye Houses in Paterson for many years before retiring in 1987. Mr. Giordano was a member of the Dyers Local in Paterson. He was an avid fisherman and gardener who loved to cook and eat, especially sweets. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Monday at 11:30 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Sunday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice of NJ, 400 Broadacres Dr., 4th Fl., Bloomfield, NJ 07003 would be appreciated.
