Benvenuta, Dennis J. age 77 of Clifton passed away April 11, 2023. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson for most of his life, then in Ridgewood, before moving to Clifton. Dennis was the owner/operator of Elena Transit, Elmwood Park for many years before retiring. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed fishing. He was a Mets and Jets fan. Beloved husband of the late Patricia (nee Maresca) Benvenuta (2013). Devoted father of Kimberly Benvenuta and Dennis Benvenuta. Dear step father of Tony, Steve, Joe, Chris, and Sal Consiglio. Caring brother of Linda McDade, Sharon Nitch, Patricia Hutchinson, Rosalie Benvenuta, Janice Benvenuta Koch, Karen Cavaness, and the late Robert Benvenuta and Alan McDade. Survivors include 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Monday at 9:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:15 AM. Interment at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00-7:00 PM.
