Obituary of Raymond Hansen
Hansen, Raymond age 92 of North Haledon at rest in Wayne on March 21, 2023. Beloved husband of AngelaLina (nee Giardina) Hansen. Loving step-father of Joseph Di Bartolo and his wife Nancy, Mary Pignatiello and her husband Vincent, Frank Di Bartolo and his wife Meagan, Michael Di Bartolo and his wife Sandra, and Lisa Di Bartolo and her late husband Michael Dinger. Dear uncle of Jim Jekonski and his wife Marian, and John Jekonski, Jr. and his wife Eire. He is also survived by twelve step-grandchildren and one step-great-granddaughter. Born in Union City, he lived in Hawthorne for most of his life before moving to North Haledon twenty-three years ago. He was a truck driver for various companies in Hudson County and a currier for St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital for ten years before retiring. Mr. Hansen was a parishioner of St. Paul R.C. Church, Prospect Park and was an usher as well as a member of their Knights of Columbus. Raymond was a member of the Elks Lodge #1506, Ridgefield Park. He was also a United States Army Veteran enlisting in 1948, serving during the Korean War, and honorably discharged in 1952. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 8:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Paul R.C. Church, Prospect Park at 9:00 AM. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Elks Lodge #1506, 20 Spruce Ave., Ridgefield Park, NJ 07660, would be appreciated.
