Obituary of Joyce A Grimes

Grimes, Joyce "J" (nee Ravalese), age 80 of Paterson at rest in Morristown on February 16, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Richard T. Grimes (1998). Loving mother of Richard Grimes and his wife Linda of Cedar Grove and Glen T. Grimes and his wife Merys of Woodland Park. Dear grandmother of Gina Grimes, Gabriella Grimes and Miguel Hernandez. Sister in law of Carol Sisti and Selma Sisti. Sister of the late Dolores Ingenito. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Born in Paterson, she was a lifelong resident. She was a Bakery Department Employee for Pathmark, Woodland Park, for many years before retiring in 1997. Mrs. Grimes enjoyed the Jersey shore. She was the matriarch of her family and cherished any time spent with them and her grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2023 at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, Wayne at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Monday, Feb. 20, 2023 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
