Obituary of John J Jelleme

Jelleme, John "Jake" J. age 93 of Paterson at rest in Wayne on March 23, 2014. Beloved husband of forty three years of the late and former Maureen T. Lally (2011). Also surviving are many nieces and nephews as well as his beloved pet cat , Rosie. Born in Paterson, he has lived in Paterson lifelong. He was a Cable Inspector for the Okonite Co., Paterson, for many years before retiring in 1986. Mr. Jelleme was a parishioner of St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson. He was a WW II Coast Guard Veteran. John was an all around avid sports fan, and a N.Y. Yankee Fan for 83 years. He enjoyed bowling and going to the Jersey shore. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday at 10:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson at 11:00 AM. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Friends may visit Thursday from 9:30 - 10:30 AM.
