Dooney, Edward T. age 74 of Saddle Brook at rest in Hackensack on November 18, 2022. Beloved husband of Eileen (nee Bazewicz) Dooney. Loving father of Jason Dooney and his fiancée Erika Meadows and Michael Dooney and his fiancée Francesca Phillippy. Adoring grandfather of Donovan Dooney. Dear brother of Evelyn Hillier. Loving uncle of Kathy. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson for 28 years before moving to Saddle Brook. He was an employee for NEC, Long Island for the last 6 years before retiring in 2012. Prior to that he worked for ITT, Nutley for 14 years. Mr. Dooney was a United States Air Force veteran serving in the Vietnam war. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Tuesday at 11:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Laurel Grove Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Tuesday 9-11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Vietnam Veterans of America at vva.org/donate/, would be appreciated.
