Obituary of Alison M Brooks

Brooks, Alison M. age 65 of Woodland Park at rest in Woodland Park on November 13, 2022. Loving mother of Nelson Brooks of Woodland Park. Dear daughter of the late Albert and the late Dorothy (nee Nelson) Brooks. Sister of Craig Brooks and the late Albert Brooks, Jr. Alison is also survived by many loving cousins and friends. Born in Paterson, she lived in Totowa for most of her life before moving to Woodland Park 5 years ago. She was an employee for MES, Saddle Brook, for many years before retiring. Alison's passion was cooking and loved to cook for her family and friends. She even owned her own restaurant, A Bite Out of the Ordinary in West Paterson. She was also a hairdresser for many years. Relatives and Friends may visit the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Thursday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Interment will take place at the Mt. Holiness Cemetery, Butler, on Friday at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to help with funeral costs.
