Alvarez, Alicia (nee Betancourt), age 74 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on September 16, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Juan Alvarez (2003). Loving mother of Juan Alvarez and Sandra Alvarez and her husband Michael J. Donald. Dear sister of Angelica Beatriz Betancourt Diaz and the late Alfonso Betancourt. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins in Ecuador and United States. Born in Quito, Ecuador she came to the Unites States in 1967 and resided in Paterson. She was a Homemaker.  A Memorial Mass will take place at St. Marys RC Church, 410 Union Avenue, Paterson on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 10:00 AM. Cremation was private at the request of the family. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa is in charge of arrangements.
