Onnembo, Giovanni age 68 of Haskell at rest in Teaneck on September 11, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Francesca (nee Nobile) Onnembo (2017). Loving father of Maria Onnembo and her husband Gabriel Germosen, Daniela Onnembo and Nicola Onnembo and his wife Raysa. Dear brother of Biagio Onnembo, Vincenza Onnembo and Rosa Annaloro. Also survived by seven grandchildren, one great-grandson and many nieces and nephews. Born in Postiglione, Italy, he came to the United States and resided in Paterson, then Haledon, before moving to Haskell. He was a Construction Worker for CCI Construction, Montville for many years before retiring. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Thursday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Laurel Grove Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Wednesday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38501 and/or the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023 would be appreciated.
