Obituary of Sarah Ann Haefeli

Haefeli, Sarah Ann (nee Batte) of Totowa at rest in Wayne on April 11, 2006. Beloved wife of Benjamin Haefeli. Mother of Mark and Brian Haefeli. Daughter of the late Angelo Batte and Adelaide (nee Meyers) Batte. Sarah Anns mother died when she was 7, and she was raised by her stepmother, the late Bianca Batte. Sister of Carol Ann, Michael and Joseph Batte. Grandmother of Alice Ann, Amelia, Sara Mary, Laura, Jenna, Elizabeth, and Emily. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 8:30 AM. A Blessing will follow at St. James RC Church, Totowa at 9:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Thursday 7-9 PM and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. She was a Service Representative for Verizon, Totowa, NJ before retiring 10 years ago. Mrs. Haefeli was the President of the West Paterson Womens Club. She was also one of the founding members of the West Paterson Public Library. Survivors include her husband: Benjamin Haefeli of Totowa 2 sons: Mark Haefeli of Montclair, NJ Brian Haefeli of Gambrills, MD A sister: Carol Ann Batte of Oak Ridge, NJ 2 brothers: Michael Batte of Franklin, NJ Joseph Batte of Forked River, NJ Also survived by 7 grandchildren.
