Obituary of Peter J. Convertino

Convertino, Peter age 48 of Little Falls at rest in Dover on September 3, 2022. Dear son of the late Martino and the late Carmine (nee Demontis) Convertino. Brother of Stefano Convertino and his wife Daniele of Fairfield. Loving uncle of Brianna and Stefano Convertino. Dear friend of Yaly Acevedo and her children Krystal Cortez and Tito Torres. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. Born in Paterson, he lived in West Paterson for most of his life before recently moving to Little Falls. He was a Quality Assurance Technician for Cigna, formerly Merck-Medco, Franklin Lakes, for over 20 years. Peter was an avid fisherman that was always at the local lake or pond bass fishing. He was a lifelong New York Yankee fan, New York Jet fan, New York Ranger fan and an Italian National Soccer Team fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and especially loved to celebrate World Cup victories when Italy won the World Cup in soccer. He also loved traveling to Italy and going on cruises. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James RC Church, Totowa at 10:00 AM. Cremation is private at the request of the family. Friends may visit Tuesday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org.
