Obituary of Katherine Buniewski

Buniewski, Katherine (nee Monaco), age 83 passed away in Port Charlotte, FL on May 9, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Richard Buniewski (2015) and younger sister of the recently departed Monica Padmos (née Monaco). Loving mother of Christine Schweighardt and her husband Stephen of Port Charlotte, FL, Richard Buniewski and his wife Lisa of Bedminster, and the late Brian Buniewski (2015). Dear mother in-law of Karen Buniewski and her fiancée Chris of Cary, NC. Adoring Nana to Kristy, Ricky, Chelsea and her husband Taylor, Alexa and her husband Evan, Ryan and his wife Carli, Stephenie, Alexandra, Jacquelyn, and Brian. Doting Great-Nana to Bryson. Born in Paterson where she resided for 38 years before moving to Totowa, then Wayne, lastly moving to Florida. She was a Client Service Analyst for IMS Health, Wayne, for 24 years before retiring in 2005. She was a loving Mom and Nana and her family was everything to her. Devoted to her faith and family, holidays and family traditions were very important to her as she kept these close to her heart. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Monday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may visit Sunday from 2-5 PM.
