Obituary of Giuseppina Sandu

Sandu, Giuseppina (nee Curci), age 88 of Paterson at rest in Ridgewood on April 30, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Pietro Granata (1966) and the late Dimitru Sandu (1986). Loving mother of Nick Granata, Dimitru Sandu, Filomena Giudice, Enza Petrazzuolo, Anna Latona and Domenica Scarnaty. Dear sister of the late Antoinetta, Pietro, Sebastiano, Nunzio, Francesco, Michele and Rosa, Curci, and Domenica D'Amelio. Also survived by nineteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. Born in Sala Consilina, Italy she came to the United States and resided in Paterson. She was a cook for St. Mary's R.C. Church, Paterson for over twenty years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Wednesday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Tuesday from 4-8 PM.
