Scalzitti, Virginia L. (nee Richards), age 73 of Haledon at rest in Haledon on April 13, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Scalzitti, Sr. (2018). Loving mother of Paul Scalzitti and his wife Jennie and the late Anthony J. Scalzitti, Jr. (2005). Dear grandmother of Michael James Scalzitti, Ashley VanVelkinbergh and Brittany VanVelkinbergh. Sister of Edward Richards and the late Robert and James Richards. Born in Camden, she lived most of her life in Paterson, before moving to Haledon fourteen years ago. She was a Senior Tax Advisor for H & R Block, Wayne, for over forty years, before retiring. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may visit Monday 4:00-8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the National Kidney Foundation of New York/New Jersey, 30 East 33rd Street, 3rd Fl., New York, NY 10016-5337 would be appreciated.
