Obituary of George T Pepe

Pepe, George T. age 93 of Woodland Park at rest in Paterson on April 8, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Marion (nee Mawson) Pepe (1982). Loving father of George J. Pepe and his wife Denise of Woodland Park. Dear grandfather of Freddie Stringham and his wife Marjorie of Parsippany and Denielle Eaker and her husband Eric of Arizona. Devoted great grandfather of Andrea Rodriguez of Parsippany, Nicholas Stringham of Parsippany, Alyssa Stringham of Parsippany, Alex Stringham of Parsippany, Joseph Di Pinto of Parsippany, Antonia Eaker of Arizona and Ricky Eaker of Arizona. Brother of Gerald Pepe of Manville, Marie Gauhan of Parlin and Josephine Rizzo of Avoca, PA. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Born in Wyoming, Pa, he lived in West Paterson for most of his life. He was a Letter Carrier for the US Post Office, Wayne for 31 years before retiring in 1988. George was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and was a disabled veteran. He was an avid golfer. George was a NY Jets and NY Yankee fan. He enjoyed the Jersey shore, and he enjoyed time spent with his family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Friends may visit Monday 4:00 - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to North Shore Animal League, 25 Davies Avenue, Port Washington, NY would be appreciated.
