Obituary of Gianna Nicole De Pasquale

Gianna De Pasquale of Little Falls, NJ passed away suddenly at the age of 31 on March 31, 2022. She was a graduate of Passaic Valley Regional High School and the Artistic Academy of Hair Design. Gianna had strong love for family as well as friends. When Gianna loved you, there was nothing she wouldn't do to make sure you were happy. When Gianna entered a room, her presence was felt immediately. Gianna lived a very active life. Whether at the top of a ski slope or on a beach at the Jersey Shore she made it fun for everyone. Her laugh was infectious and her smile was contagious. She adored her brothers and fell madly in love with each one of her nieces and nephews. Gianna's childhood was filled with memories and love of the times spent with all of her cousins. Even though Gianna was raised in New jersey, she was a New York City girl at heart. Gianna had a dream to one day live there and in true Gianna fashion she made it come true. Her years in living there were some of the happiest times in her life. As most would be nervous bouncing from subway to subway, Gianna thrived. Gianna was a light in so many lives and will be deeply missed by many. Gianna is survived by her loving parents, Anthony De Pasquale Jr. of Woodland Park and Dawn Di Paolo (nee Barrasso) and husband Joseph Di Paolo of Bloomfield, her brother Anthony De Pasquale III, his wife Terez and their four children Aubriella, Cameron, Emilio and Vivienna of Park Ridge. Also surviving are her paternal grandparents, Anthony De Pasquale and Alberta (nee Komsa) De Pasquale of Woodland Park. She is also survived by many loving uncles and aunts and cousins. She is predeceased in death by her brother, Dominic and her maternal grandparents, Stanley and Yolanda Barrasso. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 9:45 AM. Funeral mass to follow at Our Lady of the Holy Angels R.C. Church, Little Falls at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit on Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
