Obituary of Daisy Cachola

Daisy Cachola (nee Ramirez), age 66 of Paterson, NJ passed away peacefully on March 27, 2022 in Wayne, NJ. Beloved wife to Eduvigis Cachola of Paterson for over forty years. Loving mother of Jonathan E. Cachola Sr., Eric J. Cachola, Kayla Cachola, Noelle Perez, and the late Ariel M. Cachola Sr. all from Paterson. Adoring grandmother of Arianna, Ariel Jr., Adriel, Alexander, Jacob, Rosalee, Jonathan Jr., Joziah, Jayla, Autumn, and Leah Hope Cachola. Dear daughter of the late Jose M. and Elizabeth (nee Rivera) Ramirez. Dear sister of Demetrius Saldana, Carmen Feliciano, Aleida Ramirez and the late Edward and Hector Saldana, and Miguel A. and Rene Ramirez. Daisy is survived by a host of nieces and nephews from the Cachola, Feliciano, Saldana, and Ramirez families. She is also survived by hundreds of foster children that she lovingly raised as her own over three decades of service. Born in Manhattan, NY, she lived in Manhattan until 1978 before moving to Paterson. Daisy was a Foster Parent for the Division of Child Protection and Permanency for over thirty years opening her heart and home to children in need. At a young age, she accepted Jesus Christ as her lord and savior and was a faithful member of Iglesia de Dios Calvario for over two decades. Relatives and friends are welcomed to pay their respects on Sunday April 3rd, 2022 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, NJ. Burial service will be held on Monday April 4th, 2022, at 11:00 AM, also at Festa Memorial Home with interment to follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa. The family respectfully requests all relatives and friends arrive at 10:00 AM for prompt service commencement at 11:00 AM.
