Thomas Barrise, 68, passed away surrounded by his loving family on March 18, 2022. Predeceased by his father Joseph Barrise and by his mother, Angelina Barrise (nee Guastella), with whom he shares the sacred date of his death. Beloved father to his son Taylor and daughter in law Hannah Barrise. Grandfather and "Coach" to their son Luca Joseph. Devoted brother to Joseph Barrise and his wife Renee and uncle to their children Michael and Monique. Fiancé to Linda Krissi. A dear friend to former wife Mary Barrise, cousin Allan Kaytes and brother-in-law Ed Golden. A Paterson guy and Coach whose passion for basketball took him on an extraordinary journey around the world. Additional survivors include countless friends he made along the way. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering celebrating Tom's life on Saturday April 9th, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home 111 Union Blvd., Totowa. A memorial service will take place at 12:00 PM. Memorial donations may be made to Teammates 4 Life (Teammates4life.com) or the V Foundation for Cancer Research in Tom's memory. Cremation will be private at the request of the family.
