Obituary of Dorothy E Bivona

Bivona, Dorothy E. (nee Ference), age 87 of Totowa passed away peacefully on March 12, 2022. Dorothy was born in Garfield, NJ to Frank and Elizabeth Ference on August 7, 1934. Dorothy (also lovingly known as Dot) lived most of her life in Totowa. She was the wife of the late Salvatore Bivona. She was loving mother to Linda Bivona of Totowa and Susan Clegg & her husband John of Rockaway. She had two grandsons, Nicholas and the late Zackery Clegg. Dorothy is also survived by her brother Frank Ference and his wife Helen and the late William Ferrence. She also had many nieces and nephews. Dorothy spent most of her life as a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and baking. She was an avid fan of the NY Giants and the NY Yankees. She spent most of her leisure time playing bingo and also enjoyed trips to Atlantic City with her close friends. In her earlier years, Dorothy competed in the Roller Derby in Passaic, NJ. A burial service will be held on Friday, March 18th at 10:00 AM at Laurel Grove Memorial Park Mausoleum, 295 Totowa Road, Totowa. Friends and family are invited to attend.
