Rodriguez, Maria M. (nee Miranda), age 91 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on March 1, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Ramon Rodriguez (2021). Loving mother of Luz Mercado and Milsey Katz. Beloved grandmother of Ashley Mercado. Dear great-granddaughter of Alyssia Dilone. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, she came to the mainland after high school and resided in Brooklyn, NY, before moving to Paterson in 1969. She was a Floor Lady for Allen Linen Supplies, Paterson, for many years before retiring. Maria was a seamstress and loved sewing and knitting. She was an also an avid gardener. There was always food in the house, you never left without a plate of rice and beans. She wanted to feed the world. Maria was a very caring person, who will be greatly missed by all. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday March 11, 2022 at 12:00 PM. Interment to follow at Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, Clifton. Friends may visit Friday 10:00-12:00 PM.
