Obituary of Jennie Angelo

Angelo, Jennie (nee DeMaria) age 96 of Totowa at rest in Wayne on February 27, 2022. Beloved wife of the late William Angelo (1999). Loving mother of Patricia Kissel of SC. and the late Joan Ware (2010). Mother in law of Thomas Ware. Sister of Connie Markovich of Elmwood Park and the late Mike DeMaria, the late Philip DeMaria, the late Mae Gurnari, the late Paulene Azrak, the late Joespeh DeMaria and the late Theodore DeMaria. Dear grandmother of Jerzie-Ann Coppola, Jericha Cook, Jennifer Inglett and Katie Inglett-Smith. Also surviving are eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Born in Elmwood Park, she lived in Elmwood Park for twenty years before moving to Totowa seventy six years ago. She was a Pharmacy Technician for Walgreens Drug, West Caldwell for many years before retiring in 1992. Mrs. Angelo was an avid NY Yankee fan. She enjoyed tending to her floral garden. She was a great cook and was known for her meatballs. She was a fan of Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. She loved to get out of the house. She also enjoyed reading the newspaper and got her hair done once a week. She was a wonderful grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed being with them all whenever she could, always making sure they were provided for. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday, 3/3/22 at 10:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Wednesday, 3/2/22 from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
