Smolen, Kathleen J. "Kathy" (nee Soder) age 78 of Totowa at rest in Totowa on February 18, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Smolen (1996). Loving mother of Sandra A. Cowan of Wantage and David R. Smolen of Totowa. Dear grandmother of Nicholas Sarappo and Raymond, Zachary and Samantha Cowen. Great-grandmother of Nicholas. Sister of Sharon Kuba of Bloomingdale, Ellen Steele of Wantage, Susan Henry of Totowa and Thomas Soder of Monroe, NY. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Passaic, she lived in Totowa for most of her life. She was Homemaker. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and attending classic car shows in the area. She loved traveling to casinos in Atlantic City as well as Pennsylvania. She cherished any time spent with her grandchildren and family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Monday at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may visit Monday from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM.
