Scevola, Carmen (nee Cornel) age 99 of Brick at rest in Lakewood Township on February 4, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Nunziante Scevola (1994). Loving mother of Carmine Scevola and his wife Elizabeth and the late Nunziante Scevola, Jr. Daughter of the late Joaquín Cornel and the late Joaquina (nee Sahún) Cornel. Dear grandmother of Dr. Angela Scevola-Dattoli and her husband Maurice Dattoli, III and Dr. Danielle Scevola and her husband Jesse Mazza. Great-grandmother of Maurice IV, Clara and Alana Dattoli and Brianna, Savannah and Dominic Mazza. Sister of Josefa Paris and her husband Jean Paris, Lolita Colon and the late Joaquín Cornel and the late Mary Cornel. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in America and France. Born in Bordeaux, France, she came to the United States in 1955 and resided in Paterson then West Paterson, before moving to Brick. She was a Homemaker. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Wednesday at 12:00 PM. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of Pompeii R.C. Church, Paterson at 12:30 PM. Entombment at Calvary Mausoleum, Paterson. Friends may visit Wednesday from 10:00-12:00 PM.
