Obituary of Donna M. Shipley

Shipley, Donna M. (nee Thorpe), age 83 of Totowa at rest in Wayne on December 28, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Raymond A. Shipley (2005). Loving mother of Wanda M. Monzo and her husband Robert of Henryville, PA, Rhonda Corey of Totowa, Bruce W. Corey of Wayne and the late Edward J. Corey (2004). Dear grandmother of Nicole M. Carl of Henryville, PA and Robert M. Monzo and his wife Desiree of Henryville, PA. Great grandmother of Bailey M. Carl and Zackery J. Monzo. Born in Bloomingdale, she lived in Paterson, before moving to Totowa forty-five years ago. She was the Director of I.T. for St. Josephs Wayne, Hospital, Wayne for many years before retiring in 2003. She was a member and past treasurer of the Totowa Happy Seniors. She was also a past member of the American Legion, Post #227, Totowa Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading and playing board games and video games with her family. She also enjoyed Broadway shows and going to the movies with her close friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Monday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Sunday 3:00 - 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to the Totowa Boro First Aid Squad and/or the American Legion Post #227, Totowa would be appreciated.
