Finamore, Novilia age 89 on December 20, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Raffaele Finamore. Loving Mother of Emilia Stampone and her husband Nino, Pina Sansotta and her husband Carmine and Vincenzina Buonincontri and her husband Ernesto. Dear grandmother of Assunta McLane, Kristina Methakul, Raffaellina Merlino, Daniella Pisacani, Emilio Buonincontri, Ricky Stampone, Alessandra Buonincontri, Katie Buonincontri, Pat McLane, Rashapaul Methakul, Chris Pisacani and Anthony Merlino Devoted great grandmother of Graciella McLane, Avia Merlino, Carmelo Pisacani, Luna Methakul, Patrick McLane, Novilia Buonincontri and Luciana Merlino. Novilia worked in a factory in Paterson after arriving here from Italy. She has left a legacy of a family that is bonded by love. She has taught us to forgive those who never apologized, to accept the things we never wanted, to ignore the words we don't want to hear. She has taught us how to live above the world how to live with Christ. If there is anything we could do to carry her life on it's to love the Lord and be near to God all the days of our lives. She never asked for anything - never expecting anything. She would give even when she had nothing to offer. The beauty of grandma's life was the simplicity. She never once needed or asked for more than what God handed her. The bond our family shares is a result of her relentless prayers, her overwhelming humility, and her youthful ways. She would dance as soon as the music was on and would sing out loud just to put a smile on our faces. We are so blessed to have been loved by a woman like her. She spent every day of her life talking about her love for her deceased husband. Today, we rejoice as they have been reunited for eternity. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 10:00 AM. Entombent at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Paterson. Friends may visit Sunday 2-6 PM at the funeral home. Donations in her memory, may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The family requests that all guests wear masks during the visitation and funeral mass.
