Obituary of Jayne H Sullivan

Sullivan, Jayne H. (nee Gould), age 93 of Cedar Grove at rest in Cedar Grove on December 17, 2021. Beloved wife of 51 years to the late James J. Sullivan. Dear daughter of the late Walter K. and the late Dorothy (nee Van Natta) Gould. Sister of the late Frances Gould, the late Mildred Parr, the late Dorothy Kozak, and the late Walter Gould. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Born in Nutley, she lived in Paterson, then Mt. Kisco, NY, then Totowa, before moving to Cedar Grove. She was a Buyers Assistant for Grand Union, Elmwood Park, for 36 years before retiring in 1991. Mrs. Sullivan was a parishioner of St. Gerard R.C. Church and was a lector, eucharistic minister, altar server and member of the Rosary Altar Society. She was a member, past Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary of the National Council of Catholic Women, Paterson. She was also a volunteer at a nursing home in Pompton Lakes for 12 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Friday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN would be appreciated.
