Ghattas, Mahiba F. (nee Maroun), age 85 of Fair Lawn at rest in Wayne on December 17, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Fouad Ghattas. Loving mother of Jack Ghattas and his wife Nora, Jihad Ghattas, Imad Ghattas and his wife Barbara of Totowa, and Zahia Asfour and her husband Maurice of FL. Adoring grandmother of Elias, Eric, Elyana, Alessia, Christian, and Alan. Dear daughter of the late Hanna and the late Nelly (nee Nahara) Maroun. Beloved sister of Mike, Nick, Samira, Norman, and Jimmy Maroun. Born in Aitanite, Lebanon, she lived in Lebanon until 1989. She immigrated to the United States and resided in Paterson before moving to Fair Lawn. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Ghattas was very religious and a devout member of St. Ann's Melkite Church, Woodland Park. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the wake at St. Ann's Melkite Church, located at 802 Rifle Camp Road, Woodland Park, NJ, on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will also be taking place at St. Ann's Melkite Church on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Festa Memorial Funeral Home 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, is in charge of the arrangements.
