Obituary of John Ragucci

Ragucci, John age 75 of Wayne at rest in Wayne on December 16, 2021. Beloved husband of Francine (nee Ammirato) Ragucci of Wayne. Dear father of Michael Ragucci & wife Jennifer of Wyckoff, Chris Ragucci & wife Allison of Pequannock, Margaret Kramer & husband Jeremy of Glen Ridge, and Kim Kearney of Wayne. Step father of Paul Rubestello & wife Natasha of Pompton Lakes, Jillian Rubestello of Totowa, and Danielle Rivera & husband Manny of Totowa. Brother of the late Frank Ragucci and his wife, Ellen Ragucci of Duxbury, Mass. John is also survived by 11 grandchildren and his pet dog, Bailey. Born in Paterson, he moved to Wayne 16 years ago. John retired as the Deputy Police Chief for the Paterson Police Dept., Paterson in 2003. He was a member of the Paterson PBA Local #1 and Paterson Retirees Local #600. He belonged to the Honor Legion. John collected classic automobiles and loved music. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday at 9:30 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Sunday 2-6 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated.
