Demarest, Joyce A. (nee La Fountain), age 87 of Totowa at rest in Totowa on December 14, 2021. Beloved wife of the late George W. Demarest (1983). Loving mother of Darlene Pellegrino of Jackson, Donald G. Demarest and his significant other Corinne of Totowa and Kenneth L. Demarest of VA. Dear grandmother of George, Don-Michael, Joseph, Nicholas, Carrie, Corinne, Courtney, Charissa and Brittany. Great grandmother of twelve. Born in Springfield, Mass., she lived most of her life in Totowa. She was a Supervisor for Kids R Us, Totowa, for twenty years before retiring in 2003. Mrs. Demarest loved to play Pinochle and solve jigsaw puzzles. She was a NY Mets fan. Mrs. Demarest also enjoyed canvas painting and she was also known as Mom's Taxi. Her grandchildren were her world. Relatives and friends may visit Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa.
