Obituary of Glen Bartman

Bartman, Glen age 73 of Riverdale, formerly of Woodland Park, at rest in Hackensack on December 10, 2021. Beloved husband of Pina (nee Turdo) Bartman. Loving father of Glen David Bartman and his wife Janina, Renee Bartman Capanear and her husband Donald, and Marc Bartman and his wife Emmalee. Adoring grandfather of Adam Bartman, Cheyenne Capanear, Michael Bartman, Travis Capanear, Alexander Bartman and Nathaniel Bartman. Dear son of the late Frank and the late Sarah (nee Witt) Bartman. Loving brother of Frank Bartman, Vivian Rosenfeld, and the late John Bartman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Passaic, he lived in Woodland Park for most of his life. He was a Sheriff's Officer for the Passaic County Sheriff's Department, for many years before retiring. He was also an Army Veteran having served during Vietnam.  Glen received the Air Medal of Valor for heroism, the Distinguished Service Medal and the Air Medal (21 Oak Leaf Cluster) for Meritorious Achievement while participating in flight for 1200 hours of combat.    Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Bonaventure RC Church, Paterson at 9:30 AM. Entombment at Laurel Grove Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Monday 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
