Obituary of Julio Cesar Fonseca

Fonseca, Julio Cesar age 95 of Elmwood Park at rest in Ridgewood on December 8, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Angelina (nee D'Maria) Fonseca (1983). Loving father of María Fonseca, Julio Fonseca and the late Enriqué Fonseca. Dear brother of Carlos Eduardo Fonseca, Fernando Fonseca, and the late Jorgé Fonseca, María Victoria Fonseca, María Julia Fonseca and Miguel Fonseca. Grandfather of Jennifer, Chris, Juliana, Gabriela, Mariana, Amanda, Ashley and Alisha. Great-grandfather of Payton, Mikaela and Quinn. Born in San Jose, Costa Rica he came to the United States in 1968 and resided in Florida, then Paterson before moving to Elmwood Park twenty years ago. He was a Certified Public Accountant for Aparicio y Silva in Colombia for many years before retiring. Mr. Fonseca was a member of the Lions Club in Colombia, Elizabeth and Paterson, where he received a special medal of honor for being a member for over fifty years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C.
