Ferri, Gioconda A (nee Rizzo), age 84 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on November 21, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Frank Caramico (2005). Loving mother of Lino G. Ferri and his late wife Barbara A. of Middletown, and Connie P. Caposella of Totowa. Adoring grandmother of Brian J. Ferri and his wife Lisa, Jenna Marie Backert and her husband John, Carmine J. Caposella, and Michael J. Caposella. Great-grandmother of a future great-granddaughter. Loving sister of Donata Pelosi and Salvatore Rizzo. Dear daughter of the late Gabrielle and the late Filomena (nee Crisci) Rizzo. Born in Serino, Italy she lived in Italy for 19 and a half years before emigrating to the United States and residing in Paterson. She was a Seamstress for Metro-Mills, Paterson, for many years as well as assistant to the chef at Scordatos restaurant in Paterson and Hawthorne. Mrs. Ferri was a great cook and she loved gardening. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Tuesday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard RC Church, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Laurel Grove Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Monday 3:00 - 8:00 PM.
