Obituary of Kenneth H Van Wagenen

Van Wagenen, Kenneth H. Sr. age 86 of Wayne at rest in Wayne on November 15, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Marlene T. (nee Bandis) Van Wagenen (2018). Loving father of Kim A. Mongiardo and her husband, Rich of Wayne, Kenneth H. Van Wagenen, Jr. of Bridgewater, and the late Deborah and Diane Van Wagenen. Dear grandfather of Joe Borges and his wife, Evelyn and Nicholas Mongiardo. Great grandfather of Brooklyn, Cielo and Jake. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Kingston, N.Y., he lived in Wayne since 1990. He was a Manager for J.J. Newbury, New Brunswick for 36 years before retiring in 2009. Ken was an avid hunter and fisherman. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering on Sunday from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated. The family requests all who attend the memorial gathering to kindly wear masks, regardless of vaccination status.
