Obituary of William Anthony Pirone III

Pirone, Willam Anthony age 75 of Chadwick Beach at rest in Chadwick Beach on November 11, 2021. Beloved husband of 53 years to Louise (nee Riccardo) Pirone. Loving father of Tina Villani and her husband, Michael of Colts Neck, Bill Pirone and his wife Amy of Fairfield. Dear brother of Patricia Pirone Brown of PA, Carol Orosz of Pompton Lakes and the late Dorothy Aumenta of Paterson. Devoted grandfather of Erica Villani, Michael Villani, Nicholas Villani, Heather Villani, Brandon Pirone, Anthony Pirone and Luca Pirone. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Paterson, he lived in Little Falls before finally moving to Chadwick Beach full time in 2019. Bill owned a flooring store (The Floor Factory) and worked in the flooring and textile industry for many years before retiring in 2001. Bill was extremely proud of his service to his Country as a member of the U.S. Army Special Warfare Unit, and he loved sharing his stories. He loved the NY Giants and tailgating every Sunday with the Ardise crew, and he was both a NY Yankee and Mets fan. He also loved spending time with family. Bill was most proud of his grandchildren and cherished every opportunity he got to spend with them and watch their countless sporting events. Nothing made Bill happier than spending summers surrounded by his grandkids and all of their friends at the shore. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Holy Angels RC Church, Little Falls at 10:00 AM. Cremation will be private. Friends may visit Tuesday 4-8 PM.
