Obituary of Lorraine Stambouly

Stambouly, Lorraine (nee Feliciano), age 90 of Totowa at rest in Totowa on October 9, 2021. Loving mother of Lisa Novak of Totowa and her former husband, the late Brian Novak, and Joe Stambouly and his wife Nina of Wayne. Adoring grandmother of Linda Bontempo and her husband Steve of Cedar Knolls, Chelsea Pantale and her husband Christopher of Little Falls, Melanie Stambouly of Wayne, Robert Novak and his wife Kelsey of Hamilton, Jennifer Novak of Little Falls, and Joey Stambouly of Wayne. Dear sister to the late Carol Gioia, and sister-in-law to Carol's husband Andrew Gioia. Loving aunt of Sandra Cornacchia, Annette Gioia, and Christopher Gioia. Dear daughter of the late Louis and the late Linda (nee Pepe) Feliciano. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews, and her former husband, the late Edward G. Stambouly (2006). Born in Hawthorne, she lived in Hawthorne for 34 years before moving to Totowa 44 years ago. Mrs. Stambouly started working as a bookkeeper for her Dad at her families Studebaker dealership in Hawthorne. She eventually went on to be a bookkeeper for Jersey State Chemical, Haledon and Automatic Doorman, Paterson, for over 60 years before retiring in 2007. Some of the things Lorraine loved to do were bowling, going to lunch with her close friends, and spending quality time with her 6 grandchildren. She was also an avid parishioner of Holy Angels RC Church, Little Falls. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Holy Angels RC Church, Little Falls at 10:00 AM. Interment at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Tuesday 4-8 PM.
