Obituary of Marie M Sierra

Marie Sierra, age 73, passed away on August 24, 2021. She was born in Serino, Italy and came to theUnited States when she was 4 years old. She grew up in Paterson, NJ with her parents and 2 younger sisters, Geraldine (deceased 2020), and Gina. In November 1972 she married Luis and had 2 children,Louis and Christie. Marie worked for Passaic Valley Hospice for over 20 years until her retirement in 2013.

In 2016 Marie and Lou moved to The Villages, Fl to enjoy their retirement. She found a part-time job at Evans Prairie Country Club and loved working there as the hostess. Marie is survived by Luis, her husband of 49 years; son Louis and his wife Dara; daughter Christie and her husband James; grandchildren Kayla, Christopher, Anthony, Kassidy, and Alexander; sister Gina and husband Marc; brother-in-law Richard; and nieces and nephews Regina, Matthew, Steven, Deanna, and Derek; as well as many cousins and extended family members, all of whom she loved very much.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend a  Memorial Mass at St. Bonaventure R.C Church, 174 Ramsey Street, Paterson, NJ on Monday September 13, 2021 at 10:15 A.M.  Burial of cremains to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
