Romaniello, Carolyn J. (nee Ryszykow), age 74 of Totowa at rest in Paterson on August 26, 2021. Beloved wife of 54 years to Alfred J. Romaniello of Totowa. Loving mother of Carrie A. Tanguay & her husband Gerard of Totowa and Allen Joseph Romaniello of Totowa. Devoted grandmother of Julia Tanguay and Alan Romaniello. Dear sister-in-law of Rosemary De Maio of Wayne. Dear aunt of Stacy Gallo, Andrea Wirth and Stefanie Ebbinghausen. Also survived by her beloved pet dog, Buster. Born in Buffalo, New York, she lived in Atlantic Beach, Florida before moving to Totowa 54 years ago. She was an Office Manager for Dr. Robinson, DDS, Totowa for 23 years before retiring in 2010. Carolyn was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa. She enjoyed traveling the world as well as going to Atlantic City and the beach. She was the head of the family and she cared and cooked for them. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends, and she cherished time spent with her grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial mass at St. James R.C. Church, 400 Totowa Rd., Totowa, on Monday, September 6, 2021 at 10:30 AM. Cremation was private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or any Children's Hospital of your choice would be appreciated. Arrangements are by Festa Memorial Funeral Home 111 Union Blvd., Totowa.
