Potenzone, Albert L. age 65 of Totowa at rest in Paterson on August 2, 2021. Beloved husband of 35 years to the former Jo-Anne (nee Platt) Potenzone of Totowa. Loving father of Alison Potenzone of Totowa and Olivea Potenzone & her longtime boyfriend, Eric of Totowa. Dear son of the late Apello and the late Julia (nee Rosso) Potenzone. Devoted brother of Jean Stella & her husband Anthony of Athens, PA, and the late Carlo and Gary Potenzone. Brother in law of Qurita Potenzone of Bloomfield, Debbie Potenzone of Totowa, Tim Platt & his wife Cathleen of Little Falls and Richard Platt & his wife Betsy of Cedar Grove. Albert is preceded in death by his beloved Godson, Gary Potenzone. He is survived by many nieces and nephews and his beloved pet dogs, Bacci, Maggie, Gracie, and Daisy. Born in Newark, he lived in Bloomfield before moving to Totowa in 1982. Albert was always a true patriot, who loved his country, the American Flag, and a proud supporter of our military and first responders. Since 1976, he was the co-owner of Apollo Flag Company with his brother and best friend, Gary. He vacationed in Aruba the entire month of August for the past 20 years with his family. On any given day, he could be found on his recliner with all of his dogs and his home was always open to relatives and friends. Arrangements are private at the request of the family.
