Obituary of Ethel Fortino

Fortino, Ethel (nee Vacca), age 97 of Little Falls at rest in Montville on August 1, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Benjamin Fortino (1996). Loving mother of Roger Fortino and his wife Beverly, Robert Fortino and his wife Debbie, Ronald Fortino and his wife Jackie, Raymond Fortino and his wife Donna, Sandi Selwood and her husband Jim and the late Richard Fortino (2006). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson for most of her life before moving to Little Falls in 2000. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Fortino loved to travel with family & friends. She was an avid bowler and a member of Deborah Hospital Foundation. She loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. She also had a special love for animals. She was a brownie troop leader for School #27 for 8 years, and loved every minute of it. She enjoyed being part of the family business, The Stoney Road Inn, Paterson, for 10 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Holy Angels R.C. Church, 473 Main Street, Little Falls, on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Saturday 9:00 - 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Holy Angels R.C. Church, Little Falls. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa is in charge of arrangements.
