Obituary of Albert Gaetano Roberto

Roberto, Albert Gaetano age 79 of Totowa at rest in Ridgewood on July 21, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Roberto (2013). Loving father of Deanna Roberto and her husband Paul Thomas of Clayton, NC, Steven Roberto and his wife Allison of Collegeville, PA, and Jill Fontana and her husband Louis of Little Falls. Adoring grandfather of Sabrina, Monica, Cole, Gaetano, Sonia, Fiona, and Jenna. Dear brother of Joyce Roberto and the late Carol Proffitt.  Dear brother in-law of Bernie Proffitt and Judy and Marilyn Adelman.  Loving uncle of Laurie and Michael Proffitt. He is also survived by loving friends of the family, Karen and Alec Zavattaro. Born in Paterson, he lived in Totowa most of his life. He was a Mechanic for Coca-Cola, Paterson, for 30 years before retiring. He was also a Vietnam Veteran. Mr. Roberto loved spending time with his grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Tuesday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James RC Church, Totowa at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Monday 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
