Obituary of Ronald G Henderson

Henderson, Ronald G. age 80 of Totowa at rest in Totowa on June 29, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Barbara A. (nee Mc Dermott) Henderson (2016). Loving father of Lauren A. Edge and her husband Tom and the late Scott G. Henderson (2008). Dear grandfather of Thomas K. and Ronald J. Edge. Brother of the late Dorothy Marshall and the late William Henderson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, including Sharon Battaglino. Born in Paterson, he lived in Totowa for most of his life. He was a lineman at NJ Bell Telephone Company, Totowa for many years before retiring. After that he was an instructor at Verizon in the northern NJ area. Mr. Henderson was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa and a Navy veteran during peacetime. He was a member of the Hawthorne Caballeros Drum and Bugel Corps. He was also a director at the New York Society of Model Engineers, Carlstadt. He loved going to the casino and was an avid Rangers Fan. His grandchildren were his whole world and he will be greatly missed by them. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Laurel Grove Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
