Obituary of Emilia Rubino

Rubino, Emilia (nee Intrieri), age 86 of Woodland Park at rest in Paterson on June 25, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Vincenzo Rubino (2009). Loving mother of Anthony Rubino and his wife Michele of Pequannock and Johnny Rubino of Woodland Park. Adoring grandmother of Anthony, Kaleigh, Giovanni, Jenna Rose, Mimi, and Marchello. Dear sister of Angelo Intrieri and Victoria Veneziani. She is also survived by her sister in-laws, Bruna, Franca, Domenica, Ernestina and many nieces and nephews both here and in Italy. Born in San Pietro in Guarano, Italy, she lived in Italy until 1962 before immigrating to the United States and residing in Paterson. She lived in Paterson until 1975 before settling in Woodland Park. She was a seamstress for All Star Fashions, Paterson for many years before retiring. Mrs. Rubino loved to garden and go on trips with the Pacentro Club and relatives. She also enjoyed cooking and taking summer vacations with her family in Wildwood. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:15 AM. Entombment at Calvary Mausoleum, Paterson. Friends may visit Wednesday 4-8 PM.
